Funäsfjällen has one of Europe's best snowmobile areas. Together with Storsjö/Ljungdalen, we have 610 kilometres of snowmobile trails, a third of which go over the high mountains. We also have two free skiing areas. Here the whole family can experience mountains, birch forests and valleys through varied, well-prepared snowmobile trails. To access them, you need a valid Mountain Pass Snowmobile. You can expect season passes to be valid from mid-December to the end of April.
By buying Mountain pass Snowmobile you get access to the area's snowmobile trails. You also help to preserve a long-term sustainable local environment. Read more about our Mountain pass and the work of Ledbolaget here.
We do not use stickers, but search for the snowmobiles reg number when we do trail checks. Mountain pass is linked to the snowmobile and the reg number.

I app you will find up-to-date information on the trails in the area. You can see if a route is temporarily closed due to high water, lack of snow, reindeer herding, hunting or similar. You can also read about the scope of the various tours and see where you are on the trail. All our Mountain Passes can be purchased directly in the app.

VÄSEK
For those who buy a season pass in Funäsfjällen, five sessions on Väsek's snowmobile trails are included. Our 61 miles of snowmobile trails in Funäsfjällen and Storsjö/Ljungdalen, including two freeride areas, together with Västjämtland's 75 miles, provide 136 miles of continuous snowmobiling.
